It is very common to have pain in initial days of periods so as it is nothing much to worry.
But in case pain is very severe and at times unbearable then get an ultrasound done to rule out pathologies in uterus like fibroids, adenomyosis or endometriosis.
Mostly simple analgesics like meftal spas and drotin suffices but in case any of the above pathologies are there then there are several targeted drugs available which can help a lot.
