Potassuim deficiency most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Muscle cramps are most commonly caused by potassuim defficiency. I'd suggest you get a blood test of your potassuim levels and if low , you should start potassuim supplements.

Meanwhile, if your calf muscles become swollen or red and/ tender to touch then please go to the hospital as there may be an element of Deep vein thrombosis involved.
