Suggest Treatment For Severe Muscle Spasms In The Right Side Of The Chest
Question: Hello, sometimes I have a bad muscle spasm on the right side of my chest. just under the breast. I can never do sit ups because of these spasms. then the pain radiates to the middle right side of back. I am a diabetic and also am on blood pressure medication.
Brief Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX this pain you are describing is probably neural
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX this pain you are describing is probably neural (nerve related) since the pain is in a semicircle front to back. And because you are a Diabetic this is more likely. I would like to know if you are taking metformin and to compensate the deficiency likely to occur because of metformin are you taking a B-12 supplement.
I would advise--B-12, Gabapentin 75 at night for a week. If there is no improvement, I would like you to see your doctor for a work up. Regards

Hi XXXXXXX Great! Then Gabapentin is the medication for you.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Great!
Then Gabapentin is the medication for you. But if you can consult your doctor on this it will be better (you'll be needing proper prescription for this). Also lightly massage your chest back (spine) to front with a pain balm like Bengay.
Wishing you the best.
Regards.
