My whole body starts jerking and I have no control. I am on several medications my DR. at the pain clinic say my potassium may be low and it's not. Also I get the chills really bad that goes thru my whole body.
Brief Answer:
these are muscle spasms.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to health care magic, these are muscle spasms.
Here's what I think---
They could be due to deficiency of calcium, magnesium, potassium.
They could also be due to nerve irritation.
Maybe one of the injections to the back that you regularly take hit a nerve?
Have you had an x-ray/MRI of cervical spine?
Please revert back so that I can sum up my advise.
Regards

This is just to tell you that I am getting blood work done on Thursday maybe something will show up. I am not sure that it is muscle spasms because I failed to tell you it's very painful most of the time. I just had one in the back of my thigh and it was very painful.
