Question: My mother is 85 years old and has a terrible history of uti.....her system has grown immune to sepro and she is highly allergic to macrobid. Her urologist this week told her the only drug that will clear this one up is macrobid or she can come to the hospital for one hour a day for 7 days for fluids. She chose the macrobid since it is Christmas and she is traveling. Of course she is terribly sick. I called the dr. and they are going to phone in an anti-nasea medicine. Can you tell me what the anti-nausea drug options might be?
