Brief Answer:
Take pregabalin also and start physiotherapy.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your clinical details. Your symptoms are related to the slight nerve compression.

You can take Pregabalin capsules also, in addition to neurobion forte.

Physiotherapy with neck and back extension exercises would also be helpful.

There is no need to worry as MRI spine is not showing any significant abnormality.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

sir,
After your kind advice, i have been taking pregabalin 50 mg along with neurobion forte for the last few days. Initially it appeared to me that numbness decreased but for the last 2 days, i have been experiencing burning sensation at right leg feet and numbness and also at right leg knee cap. Right leg muscle weakness to some what.

There are no other side effects. How i should get rid of or lessen these numbness/weakness symtoms in right leg. and also to stop spreading of numbness/weakness to thigh or upper body. Please help me.

Brief Answer:
Dose of pregabalin needs to be increased.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

The 50 mg dose of pregabalin is too low. For a significant benefit, the dose needs to be gradually increased to 150 mg per day, in two divided doses. The increase in dose should be done over two weeks, as rapid increase may cause dizziness and sleepiness.

Physiotherapy should also be continued for better results.

Best wishes,

Answered by Dr. Sudhir Kumar (3 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Pregabalin should be taken for 4-6 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

Pregabalin can be continued for 4-6 weeks. After that, we can review, whether you still require it or not, depending on your clinical symptoms. If needed, it can be continued for longer duration.

Best wishes,
