Brief Answer:
Peripheral Neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing burning and pain in both feet. This is probably neuropathy of which diabetes is the most common cause but you have checked for diabetes and it is negative. Therefore you have what we call idiopathic neuropathy. This means we don't know what causes the neuropathy. The best thing to do is see a neurologist and be thoroughly examined by them. You will need additional lab tests looking for vitamin deficiencies or metal poisoning. You will also need nerve conduction tests which monitor the nerve impulses in your feet to determine if it is a nerve damage from the back or nerve compression.

After all these tests we can better fit a treatment for your problem. Usually treatment would include gabapentin or cymbalta or amitriptyline.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
