Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Diarrhea

Question: I manage an Adult Foster Care Home. We have a Resident that has continual intestinal issues. He has had emergency surgery twice for blockages. He still complains of severe pain. We keep sending him to the Emergency room. He is either admitted for a week or two or sent home. All of his Doctor's say they don't know what to do about his condition. If he doesn't get a solution, he will not be able to continue living in our home. Doctor's have said they don't want to operate again because he is prone scar tissue and adhesions which make his situation worse. Any suggestions on the source of his problem or what we can do for his pain? He takes Miralax, Sennokot, etc. and that gives him continual diarrhea. HELP!
