Question: HI I went to a Dr. this week for swelling it starts at the top of my hip bone and goes all the way down to my foot...causes pain also my left hand get swollen. My back is hurting, and I am very fatigued. They did test and said everything was fine....when I look at the Urinanalysis result my HBlood is 3+ with a range of Negative and my Huarbc is 50-75 with a range of 0-2/HPF. Should I question them or is this normal? This is all occurring on the left side and is very painful and achy.

Brief Answer:
Question them. Blood in urine is never normal until explained!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this sweeping, pain and findings. I have reviewed this information fully and certainly, this is not the time for us to totally dismiss these symptoms and findings. While in most cases they might not have any significant pathological importance, they need to be followed up with a comprehensive clinical evaluation to establish the exact cause and rule out possible infections and kidney stones.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
