Hi. This sort of pain can be due to a condition called sciatica. You need to get the MRI of the lower spine to get the diagnosis. Consult a Neurosurgeon and follow his advise. Till then , get a rest, do not strain, no bending.

The major causes of the nose bleed are :
- Hypertension meaning raised blood pressure which can rupture the vessels in the nose as they are no well supported in the nose.
-Local infection in the nose.
-Mass / Cancer or such conditions which may need surgery.
-Bleeding disorders : due to problems with clotting factors.
-Some Medicines such as aspirin and blood thinners which are given in heart cases or those with vascular problems.
-Idiopathic : where the cause may not be found....
The standard protocol is :
To get ENT Examination - now we have endoscopes
To have general examination, particularly Blood Pressure
CT scan / MRI of the nose and sinuses.
-Examination of the blood with whole coagulation profile, blood group , cross-matching is the blood loss is more.
These will lead to the cause so that the treatment can be guided as per the cause and the effects.
Packing of the nose , cauterisation, nasal decongestant drops, lower of the blood pressure if hypertension, treatment of the coagulation defects if presents and so on.
Sometimes the patient is admitted for treatment and observation.
