Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

I understand this could be very disturbing. Firstly however, a temperature of 97.4 F is within Normal body temperature limits. Since you have taken Advil that lowers body temperature however, it might be difficult t this point to know if your body temperature was raised from the start or not. this could be known if you actually took it before going on Advil, or may be felt yourself hot or really sweating.

If the pain on the knees and back came along side the sneezing, it is possible this could be a flu. Flu s are generally accompanied by body pain, muscle aches, fatigue, nasal dripping and raised temperatures at time, but not all the time.

Vitamin C is good to fight against fatigue that could arise from the flu. I do think you really need not increase the dosage at this stage. You should be getting back to normal within a couple of days. Increasing the dosage could cause insomnia, especially if taken late, which could further aggravate fatigue.

I do suggest at this point you need some rest, take normal doses of Vitamin C and Advil, drink lots of water and fluids, avoid taking Vitamin C at night and remain watchful for a couple of days. symptoms as such of acute and simultaneous onset make me think you just have a flu.

Just be patient and watchful. The suggestions I made could help. In case you remain at a standstill after some days or experience new symptoms or get worse, you might need to see your doctor.

However, you should be getting back to order in a couple of days in case this is a flu, hopefully.

Thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best of health.
