Brief Answer:
Lifestyle modification, Steroid and Hyaluronic acid injection, Knee replace

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Thanks for the query.

In case of arthritis of the knees, usually medication like NSAIDs are useful to done extent in reducing the pain and stiffness. But nowadays medication like Steroid injection, Hyaluronic acid injection are very useful in reducing the symptoms for upto months and giving good functional outcome during that period.

On mild to moderate cases of Osteoarthritis, these injections may be given once in 3 to 6 months for relief into the knee.

Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting, kneeling, climbing stairs. Apply hot water bag to the painful regions. Take Tablet Paracetamol 1000mg twice a day for pain relief. This is over the counter medication and does not need prescription. You can apply elastic knee cap for some relief against instability of the knee. You cab also use a walking stick to be used by the opposite hand. This will offer great load relieving effects.

It is in severe Osteoarthritis of the knee, knee replacement is the best option available.

Kindly get Xray of the involved knees and follow up with me. Also upload your reports for me to be in a better position to help you.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
