Question: severe pain intense crushing in joints, around joints both hips, knees, ankles and one shoulder. Worsening over the past three weeks Unable to sleep. Weakness in joints. What can be done. What could be the cause

Hello
if it is an acute onset of pain the possibility is of a viral arthritis.
If it is pain without swollen joints then they are arthralgia still.
However if there is swelling also then it is an arthritis.
The option is to take an analgesic/nsaid like Tylenol to relieve the inflammation.
calcium and vitamin d supplements may also help.
