Question: Hello doctor,
My wife aged 32, recently had a severe pain in the chest area and the pain moved to the stomach area. We suspected that it would be sure to gas and tried ENO etc. However, this repeated after a week and we saw a doctor. We did a few tests as advised which are attached here.
Additional info:
She delivered a baby end of November 2016 with ceaserian. Her pregnancy was also complicated and she was on bed rest from 5th to 8th month of her pregnancy. She was taking progesterone supplements during this time in addition to the other pre-natal supplements.
The first attack was during the 7th month of her pregnancy and we had gone to emergency. They gave her rantac as an injection and We went home after a few hours.
Please advise.

Brief Answer:
she needs further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Thank you for your query. I've gone through the attached reports.
I can understand your concern.

Well she has pain likely related to her gall stone disease.
Need to get a serum Lipase done to rule out pancreatitis also.

In addition worthwhile getting an MRCP ( it's the MRI of bile duct) to rule out stones which possibly could have migrated from gall bladder to bile duct.

She might need intervention in the form of ERCP or gall bladder removal surgery depending on the reports.

Worthwhile getting her on less oily food and get the above mentioned test at the earliest after consulting your physician.

Hope this answers your questions, feel free to get back in case of any further queries.

Wish her a speedy recovery.
Happy to help.
