Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Hip

Question: I am a 65 yowm in excellent shape with cross training 30 minutes 3-4 times per week, 5'11" 195 lbs no health issues. Over the lat month I have developed increasing pain L hip outside that hurts mostly when I go upstairs but also just walking. Seems to have been precipitated by short runs on treadmill etc. Does not stop me from doing squats just running, etc.

The pain outside the hip that you have can be due to osteoarthritic changes in the hip joint. This can be due to low levels of calcium or vitamin D3 or a minor capsular inflammation. Avoid the painful movements, take mild anti inflammatory and do a hot compress and see if it helps.

thank you. The NSAIDs worked for now. I had fallen off of my vitamin regimen, will get back on it.
