Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Legs

Question: I have been experiencing severe pain in both of my legs for the past 3 full days and not easing off, Pain feels muscular an is in both calves, both quads, both hamstrings and both lower gluteus. I did not recently stress my legs such as over exercising. I am taking prescribed oxycodone that temporarily helps and frequently using my tens stimulator for temporary relief. It feels debilitating. I am an otherwise healthy 60 year old male, 6'0 220 lbs.
Brief Answer:
could be due to Osteoarthritis hip or spinal canal stenosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
The pain you are having in both legs in all muscle groups , not relieved by oxycodone or tens , could be due to hip Osteo arthritis, Spinal canal Stenosis , or some pelvic problem.
I suggest you get X Ray both hips and MRI of lumbar spine to arrive at a diagnosis. In the mean time , start pain killers , muscle relaxants and a combination of pregabalin and ,methycobalamine.
I hope this helps you in deciding your next course of action. Please feel free to ask any other question.
