Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Neck, Eye And Shoulders
Question: Hi
My spouse is suffering from a pain in the neck, eye and left shoulder. initially, we brushed it off as a result of bad sleeping position. However, the pain keeps appearing more often. Do we need to meet a specialist and if yes, which one?
The problem is we are not sure if it is a nervous disorder or a muscular pain. She has a sedantry lifestyle sitting in front of a laptop for very long hours. There is no loss of appetite and BP when last checked yesterday was 110/66. Any help would be appreciated.

Brief Answer:
Neurology specialist needs to be sought
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message .
I think I can help you.
First, the symptoms sound very much like nerve related issue.
There is a possibility that the nerves from neck are getting compressed.
I think it would be better to test with a MRI cervical spine and NCV both upper limb.
In case you need to meet a specialist, it would be better to meet a neurologist.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
