Question: I am having spasm like pain in my right temple. Could these be a sinus issue or something else?

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Sinus pain is a possibility however it is not common for it to be in the temple area.

One other possibility which should be considered is that of temporal arteritis, an inflammation of the blood vessels including the temporal artery. It is diagnosed by palpation of the artery and a blood test called erythrocyte sedimentation rate. If in doubt a biopsy of the vessel may be needed.

If that is excluded among other causes to consider would be temporo-mandibular joint arthritis and trigeminal neuralgia.
