Suggest Treatment For Severe Psoriasis
2 years ago I came back to live in the Uk and the NHS won't give it to me, in their words "because is not severe enough"
I believe it is because of the money it costs, but what do I know :)
I would like to try Otezla, as I've heard the results are amazing, I don't mind paying for my medicine at all, although humira is far to expensive for my pocket, any chance that I could get a prescription for Otezla??
Here are some pics of my condition, my whole body is like that.
Thank you so much in advance.

Your psoriasis is severe enough to warrant humaira (adalimumab)

Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Images.
In my view you have quite an extensive psoriatic involvement and I would definitely consider humaira or another systemic therapy in your case e.g phototherapy or methotrexate or acitretin. However, this are prescription drugs and you would need a prescription from either a practicing dermatologist in NHS or MRCP (UK) registered dermatologist which unfortunately I am not (I am registered to prescribe and practice in India) and moreover this site has a policy that does'nt prescribe online and has a clear disclaimer (at the bottom of the page) which mentions that you should not substitute online advice with in person advice.
Anyways, kindly provide me with your email Id. I will get back to you with some advice via email on how to approach this further.
Regards
I've done ALL of the above treatments, phototherapy, methotrexate (which affected my kidnies), creams, steroids, etc... Nothing works, the only thing that worked for me was humira, but as I said before, they won't give it to me in the NHS.
My email address is YYYY@YYYY
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
