Suggest Treatment For Severe Rosacea
Question: Hi, I have very severe rosacea (spots and redness). I am 42. I have avoided going to my GP until now however I did so day as it is getting worse. I have cut out caffeine, chocolate, alcohol and hot food from my diet.
My GP would not refer me and instead has prescribed Lymeecycline once a day. He did not give me any other advice. I have now read about the side effects and I am very concerned about teeth discolouration. It is bad enough having a face covered in spots- not sure I could handle yellow teeth as well.
So I am wondering, is the Lymecyline likely to be effective for Rosacea as it does not mention this condition on the information leaflet and if the teeth discolouration is avoidable?
Many thanks
