Question: I have severe sciatica......what is best treatment ? Ice and stretching don't seem to help ?

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Sciatica pain is due to compression of a nerve. Now we need to know how severe is the compression.
If the compression is very severe causing numbness and loss of motor activity of the leg then a surgical decompression is required.
Otherwise treatment is mainly physiotherapy.
Drugs like Pregabalin and Duloxetine helps in long term.
