Question: I'm feeling fine other than some scrotal itching. Clomitriziole 1% cream seems to help but not get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
It is probably a Jock itch.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
This could be a simple jock itch or a mild fungal infection.
Jock itch will settle down with avoiding sweat in that area, washing it twice to thrice a day and dabbing it dry. Always keep the area dry. Moisture in that area will increase the problem.
Clotrimazole is fine but if it persists you should consult a Dermatologist.
If you do not want to do that then you can try an ointment with a mixture of anti-bacterial and anti-fungal medicines.
If there is any change in the color or texture of the skin then you could send us a picture of the same, but best would be to get examined by a Dermatologist if the problem persists.
Take care n do let me know if there are other queries on this issue.
