Suggest Treatment For Severe Sharp Chest Pain

I'm having a sharp pain in my heart area in seemingly random occurrences 1 or 2 times a month.
It lasts about 15 - 20 seconds and during the attack and it is very painful to breath.
Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
Usually such pain is not due to heart issues.
Pain which is sharp and makes it hard to breathe is usually due lung issues and rarely it can be one's stomach, stomach usually pains when it's empty for long.
I would like to know a few things to help you in a better way.
1) Do you have cough off and on ?
2) Any stomach issues?
3) Does it get worse while you breathe in and then gets fine after something pops inside?
4) What is the frequency?
I am waiting for your input.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
General and Family Physician..

1. I do not have a cough. Only occasionally when I'm sick (as usual)
2. No stomach problems
3. If it gets worse while I breathe but after a while disappears with no pop.
4. Frequency 1 time per month
There is nothing to be worried about.

Hello thanks for writing back,
your answers made many things clear. Most importantly it is nothing dangerous it is not heart and it is not your stomach.
It is just a musculo skeletal pain which is very very among people , if you ask people around you if they have ever had this sharp pain in chest which doesn't let them breath but get better ij 20..30 seconds...most of people will say yes.
I would like to mention here that there is nothing to be worried about you shouldn't panic this is not life threatening happens with many people and almost a natural phenomenon with this frequency in which you het it.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.

Is there a name for this phenomenon?
Its my pleasure to help you.
