Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat

can be reflux disease
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
From your symptoms GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease) is a possibility.
In reflux disease, the contents of the stomach along with the acid in the stomach reflux back into the throat burning the throat causing pain, heartburn and sometimes dry cough. Also in reflux can vary, some days being better than others.
Infection will not last for a month , so that is ruled out.
Please do not worry about cancer, its very very unlikely to be cancer.
I would suggest you meet a physician and discuss the possibility of reflux disease.
Reflux disease will respond very well to antacids and prokinetics. Your physician may also suggest an Upper GI Endoscopy to confirm the diagnosis. It is a 5 minute procedure and almost painless.
Feel free to follow up,
