Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Cramps And Diarrhea

Question: I had dinner with my wife for a late valentines Wed night. About two hours later, I had bad stomach cramps and then diahharia. It lasted about four hours then stopped. I chalked it up to food poisoning or something. The next morning I was very tender in lower abdomen and felt like I needed a bowel movement, but didn't really need to. However, I got small chards (small pieces) of blood mixed with stool. Maybe only a spoonful. The same thing happened this morning. Naturally, blood in stool always seems like a concern, but I am eating well and just took a walk (feel ok). What do you think?

Blood was mixed with fecal mass. Also, I do have periodic hemorrhoids. Generally, I see that as light red coloration of toilet paper. I did have that with this incident.
No mucous on stools.
I have had two past incidents with my intestines (1) First was about 8 years ago, I ate sunflower seeds including the shells (dumb - I know) - I think an undigested shell got stuck and it gave me very similar sharp pain but no diahharia. (2) When eating dominoes pizza I get a milder form of this (has happened twice in last 3 years.
Background info: My mom had colon cancer. I had a colonoscopy about 7 years ago (approximate).
Also, like my mom, my digestive system is generally sensitive. The rest of my body is consistently healthy. I take reflux medicine over the counter which keeps that in check, but have to be careful what I eat. A lot of salad kinda "fixes" my system usually.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Your symptoms like bllod in stool is related with hemorroids.
ususally hemorrhoids aggravates after bowel movement changes.
with regards to diarrhea after meal, to my opinion it is related with food poisoning.
Othetwise it seems that the symptoms of food poisoning has been improved.
with regards to blood on stool you can use preparation H .
Otherwise I would strongly suggest to do colonoscopy to better determine large bowel issues.
