Thursday I was over zealous and walked/ran 8 miles. last night I noticed swelling in my left ankle(moderate) and I have a bloated achy feeling in that leg. What do you think?

Brief Answer:
It is likely to be due to muscle fatigue

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
It is good to hear that you are regularly walking. That is important not only for losing weight but also for staying healthy. The achy feeling could be due to muscle fatigue induced by sudden increase in the exercise load. I would not really worry about it. It will take a few days to be back to normal but in the meantime hot compress would be helpful. Also be sure to take plenty of juicy fruits since they contain plenty of potassium which is important for healthy functioning of muscles.
Hope that helps.
Regards
