Question: I get cavities in teeth, how to avoid them ? Is it ok to wait for some time before filling, will it heal naturally. What foods should I avoid ?
Any recommendations on toothpaste ?
Thanks in advance.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain of you have cavities in your teeth then it will be better to get the decay removed and teeth filled to prevent progression of decay as the teeth cannot heal on their own..

You should avoid excessive sticky foods and take more of chewy hard foods like carrots, apples etc as they clean the teeth by friction..
Drink plenty of water...

As far as toothpaste is concerned, all regular toothpastes have near about similar ingredients.
The thing that is more important is a proper brushing technique..
So you can ask a Dentist to demonstrate a proper brushing technique to you..
However pastes like Colgate total, Glister from Amway are good ones..

Please revert back for further queries..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
