Brief Answer:
Needs more details..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that acute toothache in left side of mouth with .wisdom tooth popping in can be related with erupting wisdom tooth as at times gum flap over the erupting wisdom tooth can get infected leading to severe pain..
In case if it is not related to wisdom tooth it can be due to any deeply decayed or fractured tooth..

I would like to know a few more details so that I can guide you better..
1.What is the exact location of pain, is it upper tooth or lower jaw tooth?
2.Is the pain exactly at the area where wisdom tooth is erupting?
3.Is there any swelling present on the face or inside mouth over the gum?
4.Is there any pus discharge?
5.Is the pain always present?
6.Does your wife has any medicine allergies?

Please revert back with answers..

Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Wisdom tooth related pain only..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your complain it seems that pain is due to wisdom tooth oy and can be possiy due to causes like inflammation of the gum flap over the wisdom tooth that that might have got infected due to food particles accumulation between the gum flap and wisdom tooth..

Pain upto ear can be due to radiating pain from wisdom tooth area only and you need not to worry about it..

As of now she can take painkiller like Ibuprofen but if pain is severe medications like TRAMADOL or Ketorolac can be taken..
Do warm saline gargles..
Do cool compresses over the cheek..
Do betadine mouthwash gargles..
Keep the area clean and do not let food accumulation..

In case if it doesn't improve or occurs again after improving consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and an x ray can be done for confirmation of cause and will be treated accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Regards..
