Question: What is the treatment of severe trabeculated bladder with a single diverticulum? I experience quite a
bit of pain when urinating. Also, I have urethral stenosis and I am a female. Thank you

Hi and welcome to HCM
Detailed Answer:
Thnaks for the query. Trabeculated bladder is in most cases caused by obstruction of urine flow distally and it is consequence, not cause of your difficulties. it should be treated by treating primary cause of it. and in your case it could be urethral stenosis or diverticulum. diverticulum is usually asymptomatic and require no treatment but if it obstruct urine flow or cause frequent uroinfection, pain, blood in urine, then it should be surgically removed endoscopically. urethral stenosis should also be treated if causes symptoms and it seems like you have significant symptoms. so diverticulum and urethral stenosis can be repaired surgically in one act and you should consult your urolgoist about it.
WIsh you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
