Brief Answer:
Possible fungal infection- treatment given.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

The itchy sensation most probably is because of a fungal infection. If it gets worse, you can treat that by taking one tablet of Fluconazole 150mg, single dose.

About the piece of tissue, I cannot tell much without an exam. But some possible options are:
-- The structure of your vulva has always been like that. Every woman have different vulva. Unless you are sure that it hasn't been there before.
-- If it is just inside the opening of the vagina, it can be a rudiment of the hymen, been there since you lost your virginity. This is very common to be, but depends on the position of the tissue.
-- It can be a wart- do you do regularly pap tests? Have you ever been tested for human papiloma virus?

I would recommend seeing a local doctor, who can examine you and do further tests if needed.

Hope this is helpful.

Brief Answer:
You would have had outbreaks before if you had herpes

Detailed Answer:
Yes, so if it was herpes, you would have had outbreaks during these 2 years.

Take the treatment and don't worry.

Follow up with me after the treatment if you want and I can suggest further steps or treatments.

Meanwhile, if you don't have other questions, please kindly close and rate the answer.

Brief Answer:
Seems more like a hymen rudiment

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I apologize, I just saw the picture.

I saw it carefully.

It looks like a rudiment of the hymen, since looks like it is coming from the ostium of the vagina.
I don't think it is a cancer, nor a wart, or an infection.

I would say to not worry about, unless it gives you pain or discomfort.
I still would recommend taking the antifungal treatment recommended above, if you still have itchiness.

A gynecological examination is the next step if you are worse or not better, together with the needed tests.

Hope this makes sense and answers your question.
But feel free to ask for more clarifications if you still have questions.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako

Brief Answer:
Yes, either a fungal infection or bacterial vaginoses

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Yes, the culture will tell for sure what the infection is. Generally, if there is itchiness involved it is either a fungal infection or bacterial vaginoses (but in this case you would have fishy smell discharge).

I confirm and agree what your doctor said about the excess skin. It is something not to worry about.

Let me know if I can help any further.
