Abdominal pain and vomiting ?cause
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Your son's symptoms might be partly due to withdrawal effects from THC/polydrug abuse .However possible organic causes need to be ruled out.
One of the puzzling cause of abdominal pain is Acute intermittent porphyria in which abdominal pain is often severe and poorly localized and Barbiturates commonly precipitate symptoms and treatment can be problematic.
Mesentric vascular ischemia is also another cause of obscure abdominal pain.
Your treating doctors will be the best person to assess and carry out further investigations to reach a conclusion.Till such time symptomatic measures and supportive cares are needed to relieve his complaints.

H.Pylori infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
I feel you son has been treated by best of hands and he has recovered.
H.Pylori infection tends to recur. However reinfection after successful eradication of H. pylori is rare in the United States (<1% per year). If recurrent infection occurs within the first 6 months after completing therapy, the most likely explanation is recrudescence as opposed to reinfection.
Certain probiotics like Lactobacillus or its metabolites can
inhibit H. pylori. Your son can include yogurt from cow's milk in his diet.
