Question: Hi,

I hit my head on a cabinet pretty hard last night around 7pm - no loss of consciousness but I did have sharp ear pain 30mins afterwards on the same side I hit my head. Today, I am experiencing dizziness and I feel like I could start vomiting shortly. I almost feel like I have a hangover but did not have anything to drink.

Brief Answer:
Physical examination if the symptoms persist.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

Though this head blow was not associated with loss of consciousness, but if the symptoms of dizziness and nausea don't improve in another few hours, then I advise you to get yourself examined by a physician for any abnormal examination finding.

You also need to undergo a CT scan of head,if the symptoms persist as such.

If any further questions,I shall be glad to answer.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM,(Neurology)
