Brief Answer:
pain can be due to nerve compression.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have read your query.
There is possibility of nerve compression leading to ear pain and muscle pain.
due to extensive instrumentation mobility is lost and over long years fibrosis occurs.
I will advise you neurotropic medication like pregabalin and methylcobalamine consulting your doctor.
Physiotherapy like IFT And TENS will help you.
TMJ abnormality is less likely the cause of symptoms.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
