Possible ruptured ear drum
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your ear after someone slapped you across the ear. The most common injury for a slap is a ruptured ear drum The only way to tell is have your doctor look at the ear drum. If it is ruptured depending on how big the rupture is you may need to see an ENT who can repair the rupture. If the rupture is small then it may heal naturally. In the mean time keep water out of the ear. Durign bathing or showers use an ear plug to prevent water from entering the ear canal. Do not use any Qtips or other cotton swaps to clean the ear canal as you could accidentally re injury the ear drum.
In summary
1. Rupture ear drum
2. If large may need surgery to repair
3. If small nature will heal it
4. Keep water out of the ear canal
