Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In Lower Left Abdomen

Question: In different positions, I get a sharp pain In the lower left abdomen which travels to the interior front of upper leg muscle. Changing position gives relief. This happens sitting or lying down. This has occurred since yesterday.
Brief Answer:
It could be musculo skeletal pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
As the pain is relieved by changing positions, It could be musculo skeletal pain.
I prescribe Skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside to my patients with similar complaints.
If there is no response, you should consult your doctor and get checked.
You should also get an Ultrasound abdomen to rule out Left sided Ureteric stone.
Nothing to worry.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

Thank you for your response. I previously wrote to you while I was at a resort in Ocean City this morning. I have now driven home, and shortly after arriving, I did lap swimming for a half hour or so. I then showered, and in the course of drying had the pain again. This time, I determined that the pain emanated from the left testicle, travelled immediately into the left lower quadrant of my abdomen and down the front inside of my left leg. Does this explanation lead to any further idea as to what I am experiencing?
Brief Answer:
It looks like musculoskeletal pain only.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Testis is suspended by cord like structure called spermatic cord which has coverings extended from the abdominal wall muscles.
So, you can get pain in the testis if the abdominal wall muscles are involved in strenuous exercise. It can also radiate to the leg.
Nothing to worry.
