Brief Answer:
The pain is likely to be due to muscle spasm
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have carefully gone through your query and it seems that your problem is due to muscle spasm. The adductors run from our groin downward and it seems that adductor spasm is the cause of your pain. It could be loosely associated with spasm of muscles of lower back which might make it seem that the pain is radiating backward.
It could be due to potassium deficiency or muscle fatigue. Taking juicy fruits like citrus fruits should be helpful.
