Get a radioisotope bone scan done to rule out metastasis
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have carefully gone through your problems. As you shall admit, you are suffering from multiple ailments. The first and foremost, I would like to ask about your present status of kidney function. It could be linked to some of your presentations. But I think that what you refer to as 'pain at the upper area of the kidneys', is due to spasm of the muscles of your back, rather than anything else.
Shingles are caused due to a herpes virus. Once infected, the infection persists for life and there can be flareups from time to time, especially when your immunity falls, which could be the case due to your Chronic kidney disease.
The next thing that you need to get done without delay is a radioisotope bone scan. It will help in ruling out bone metastasis as a possible cause of your symptoms. Some of the cancerous cells from your breast cancer could have tranlocated to some other part of your body by a process called metastasis and could give rise to secondary cancers involving the corresponding area. If that is not the case, the situation is less tensing and in that case arthritis should be the likely cause. Your doctor would be able to examine you and tell better.
Hope that helps.
