Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Blood Clot In Lungs
Question: Hey Doc. So i went to a walk in clinic because i have had shortness of breath for the past 10 days. They gave me a inhaler last monday because they thought it was bronchitis. However I went back in today to get rechecked sense i still had the issue. They told me i might have a blood clot in my lungs sense i didnt show any other symptom besides the shortness of breath. Any idea if thats correct? Everything else looked great including my blood pressure and oxygen levels.

Shortness of breath without any cause ,is one of the symptoms alarming clot in lung or pulmonary embolism.But doctors doubt about it when shortness of breath occurs in a person having history of legs thrombosis (clot in legs),deep vein thrombosis or having prolonged history of bed ridden and blood disorder etc
I would like to know first that have your chest xray has been done ?and what else investigations have been done for you?If any investigation has been done,could I please know the reports ?
I would also like to know,do you smoke or have any allergy problem?and is there any other symptom associated with shortness of breath like cough,fatigueness,sputum production?and what was the factor ,after which you started having shortness of breath?(did you climb up stairs or had some food or any you remember ,which trigger your shortness of breath?
If I could know about these questions ,it will be helpfull for me to clarify you more.
