Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXXX

Thank you for writing in.

I have gone through your question and I appreciate you seeking help from us.

The shooting pain in the right arm does not seem to be related to the shortness of breath, but the pain on the left side could be, and shortness of breath could be due to an issue with the heart.

The shooting pain in the right arm sounds more like a cervical disc problem/nerve entrapment.

My suggestions to you are....
1. Consult your doctor and get a proper physical exam.
2. Get an ECG/EKG, X ray of the chest, and based on clinical examination findings, an MRI scan of the cervical spine.
3. A complete blood count will also help.

Please proceed as suggested and do update me the results so that I can guide you further.

Wishing you speedy recovery and good health.

Best regards
