Question : I have emphysema and am often short of breath. I have used inhalers in the past but don't have medical insurance. My I get a prescription online for an inhaler?

Most inhalers for emphysema are not available without a doctor's prescription. I will like to know which you were using to see if there is a possibility to get it without a prescription. However, this would be very unlikely.

I was using Symbicort and Advair. I have used others as well.

They all need prsecriptions from your physician!

These medications all need prescriptions. This is same to other medications used in treating emphysema. You would really need to talk to a doctor in order to obtain this drug. I understand finances are hard but your health is also very important. Please, take it seriously.

Controlled substances cannot be prescribed only. Medical ethics prohibit that. I am so sorry about this but it is not possible seen the regulations. If you were in a society where you could get drugs without a prescription, that would have been easier. however, that is not possible in the USA. As a physician, I cannot even prescribe for myself unless my physician does. Simply complicated, you know.
