Brief Answer:
Probably side effects of Dilantin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

If these sweating issues started gradually after the starting of Dilantin, it could be probably a rare side effect of this drug use.

If these symptoms started recently and there are other accompanying symptoms such fever, frequent urination, etc. an infection should be considered and evaluated further.

Dilantin use also may cause damage and dysfunction of peripheral nerves including those related to those symptoms.

Please discuss with your husband's Doctor about these issues.

Lowering of Dilantin dose may be necessary to reverse these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
