Brief Answer:
What is the current status of your OCD ?

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

First of all I like to inform you that decision to disconinue medication lies with current status of your Obsessive compulsive disorder.

In my view if you are completely fine for last one year or more we can take a call to reduce the dose of Pexep from the current 37.5 mg to 25 mg.

In case the symptoms are still there we need to think additional options for treatment of OCD as well as side effects of PEXEP.

This is because for the side effects the best management option is either reduction of dose or change of medicine with similar effects.

Considering your side effects I feel rather than the medications there is need to change life style.

I am not sure what age you belong but if you are above 50 years of age we may need to discontinue Pexep as anticholinergic side effects are more pronounced which includes constipation, dizziness etc.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
