Question: Having reaction to Viberzi. Am 72, no gall bladder. Vomiting, severe pain and bloating in upper abdomen that makes my lungs feel painful . Comes in waves

Is there anything we can do for immediate relief? Extremely painful. Cannot wait 24 hours for a reply. I understood from the web page that answer would be immediate. Please reply now.

These are well recognized side effects of viberzi. From your symptom, these seem severe and I will suggest that you discontinue and talk to your doctor about this. He/she might consider getting you on other medications for treating irritable bowel syndrome. We have other substitute that make sticking just to one drug in the face of several severe side effects not mandatory.
