Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Zoloft
Question: I have been taking Zoloft (50mg) for about 2 months and have developed a oral sensation that is somewhere between burning and tingling. It was mild at first, and was mostly noticeable after eating, but now it occurs quite frequently and is beginning to spread to my chest. It is a weird sensation, almost like what your mouth feels like after gargling with a strong minty mouthwash. I also feel just a little jittery as well and my lips and face tingle.
Brief Answer:
Drug dose reduction is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.
I can certainly understand your concern.
Many of your symptoms are directly related to the side effects of ZOLOFT.
Minimizing the dose of this drug will help to reduce the size effects in your case.
I advice you to initially reduce the dose by 10 mg for 1 week and another 10 for another 1 week.
Please make sure to taper the dose in presence of a physician.
Post your further queries if any.
