Suggest Treatment For Simple And Acne With Oily Skin
Question: Hi,
I am 26 years female. Married and having 1 year old daughter. I am full time working and my husband is working overseas last 6 months. My problem is that there is sudden outburst very small small pimple or acne all over my face within 2-3 days. And my skin has become very oily. Still i clean my face with face wash twice a day. And I don't use any cosmetic or cream on my face at all. I don't see this as due to hormonal changes. I need a quick remedy and treatment over this as its lowering my confidence to appear in public.

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query. I have also seen the photograph
Stress, hormonal imbalances, diet, weather etc all play a role in acne. Acne may also flare as a result of oily, greasy creams or sunscreens that one may be using.
You may use a salicylic acid based cleanser for oily skin e.g Spongysal foamy face wash (contains 2% salicylic acid). Use it once daily.
Topical you may use benzoyl perioxide 2.5% gel once daily at night.
Avoid using all cosmetics like moisturisers, sunscreens, foundation etc that you may be using, for the time being, till your acne is under control.
Regards
