Brief Answer:
Hypo pigmented patch.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thank you for the picture and the details.
It could be due to fungal infection, but I cannot confirm the diagnosis without clinical examination.
It looks like hypo pigmented patches and it is increasing in size as you said which needs dermatologist evaluation.
If it is fungal infection dermatologist would prescribe topical anti fungal medication like clotrimazole, ketoconazole or micanozole for 3-4 weeks. If it is not fungal infection then doctor may go for skin tests like scraping.
For oily skin you should use glycerin containing soap or face wash. And for dry skin apply moisturisers like calamine lotion. You should use mild soap like dove or baby soap.
Both of you avoid using any cosmetics. If any. Both should also apply sunscreen lotion with (SPF 30) 20 minutes before stepping outside and repeat every 2 hours which improves your skin tone.
Hope this answers your query. If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
