Suggest Treatment For Skin Infection On Penis

Question: Hello sir, recently I found my penis skin hard , is it any skin infection . but now I am in under scalp treatment. Its also effected penis too?

From them,it looks like a eczema over skin of penis but I will need more information.

Do you have itching or irritation?
Does this hard skin cause pain?
Since how many days you noticed this hard skin?
Which scalp treatment you are taking?

Generally, with the application of corticosteroid like beclomethasone or clobetasol cream or ointment will cure your problem.Your GP or some local doctor will prescribe it.

sir i dint find no pain, no itching and no irritation.
its only a hard skin since i noticed from 3 rd day .

for psoraisis useing ketoconazole and salicylic acid shampoo

but this is another problem for skin in penis.

Its okay then,you should continue the treatment as per dermatologist but this lesion (uploaded picture) seems to be eczema and steroid application will get rid off that.

You can also take from your treating dermatologist.

or can i use sofradex( cream of dexamethasone acetate & framycetine sulphate cream). if yes how many days i have to use ?

Apply Tenovate cream.

Hi,
Thanks for the follow-up.

You can apply Tenovate 0.05% cream (clobetasol propionate) twice daily over the eczema. You can ask the tube to your nearby pharmacy as it is available over the counter.

The eczema will start reducing within 3 to 4 days of application of the cream.

Sir tenovate cream s not available in my near stores .
1 . clobeta GM cream is available ( clobetasol proponiate, neomycin miconazole nitrate , zinc oxide and borax cream ) is available so can I use this . ?

If tenovate is not available then ask for clobet or clovate cream,it might be there.

Here,no need to take clobet-GM as it contains many ingredients apart from clobetasol which are not required.

However, you can take clobet-G or soltop-N (combination of steroid and antiseptic) if merely steroid content is not available.
