Suggest Treatment For Skin Tag Like Lesion On The Floor Of Mouth

Question: I have a large skin tag on the floor of my mouth under my tongue. It is not on my tongue. Can this be pilca fimbriata ?
More information - I just noticed this for the first time yesterday. I don't think it has been there long because I can feel it poking the underneath side of my tongue and I did not have this sensation prior to yesterday.

Brief Answer:
Not Pica Fimbriata
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You noticed a skin tag like lesion on the floor of your mouth. This skin tag is not attached to your tongue. The pica fimbirata is actually attached to the tongue and describes a ridge of tissue that looks like filia or fringe. Since your skin tag is not on the tongue then this is something else. More than likely it is just a skin tag or it could be the salivary duct. I would not be too concerned about this lesion unless it grows or becomes painful.
