Suggest Treatment For Small Cysts On The Breast

Question: I had 3 breast ultrasounds which read multiple small cyst but today I had an MRIof breast with contrast and as the doctor and I were viewing the preliminary films she told me there is a 6mm small area to left breast breast that enhances quickly then disappears so she wanted to wait for radiologist to read it to see if further intervention is needed, it appears round and enchances quickly then disappears quickly (the enhancement) what could this mean? Is this cancer? Worried
Brief Answer:
Not likely to be cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome. Considering this description, it is not likely to be cancer, but more MRI features are required for exact diagnosis.
It sounds like simple cyst if you ask me, however radiologist will decide if biopsy is required and frequency of follow ups.
Wish you good health.
Regards

What does it mean when it enhances quickly and enhancement goes away quickly? Im concerned
Brief Answer:
Iz means that there is vascularized lesion
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Quick enhancement means that there is hypevascularized tumor which may be sign of something more serious, however for such small lesions it doesn't need to mean anything and it may be hemangioma or fibroadenoma. Even if there is malignant tumor, this is very early phase and treatment would be easy.
