Suggest Treatment For Small Lacerations On Penis
Question: I have small lacerations on my penis. The area is sticky as well. It is not painful but it does cause some irritation. I have went to a urologist 3 weeks ago and all STD test (including HSV 2) have come back negative. I have abstained from Sex since then. Concerned what this could be.
However, the lacerations went from 1 to 4. The doctor at the time stated that it didn't look abnormal but the increase has me worried and wanting a second opinion.

Brief Answer:
Lacerations like appearance are insignificant.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can assure you, if STD tests are negative, then just relax.
The lacerations you have shown in the picture, are insignificant clinically.
In case you have had sex with a prostitute, you can repeat the tests in one month.
That will reassure you and clear all your doubts.
Along with those STD panel tests, check your blood sugar as well.
If you notice itching or discharge from that area, have a recheck with Urologist.
So don't worry at the moment, and you can certainly masturbate or have safe sex.
Hope your worries are over.

One last follow up.
I have not had sex with a prostitute but in the last 6 months I had protected sex with two girls who were promiscuous.
I am following up to see if prostitutes or promiscous women have a disease that is different than other women and won't show up on test? I'm wondering since you specifically state prostitute? Lastly, they don't itch but they are irritated as times in the way dry skin would be.
I'm worried but not as concerned about STD's just want to make sure they will go away as I would hate to be irritated the rest of my life. But you have calmed some worry.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Repeat tests advised for your safety.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Prostitutes are infected with STD commonly and can be potential carriers.
So for your reassurance, i suggested repeating the tests after a month.
Sex with more than one partner, is a problem,if any one is a carrier.
Again for peace of mind and to relieve your tension, repeat the STD panel tests.
Before wearing a condom, oral sex can also transmit infected fluids.
So one has to be wary. Just keep it in mind.
Anyway just relax till then.

Ok I will try again in a month. But I got the first panel of testing in July and the second in October. I'll definitely try one more time next month but I have been very careful (even Oral) since July.
Thank your for your follow up. I appreciate giving me some peace of mind.
